OOC information
Experience with WoW: Played for Seven years in those years i was officer of the Dwarven Rifle Squad and eventually worked up to Guild leader status within the guild, as well as this i also was involved in the origonal senate made up from the guilds the Dun Algaz Rifles,Dwarven Rifle Squad and Dwarven Border Brigade this later died off until me and a select few Rp'ers created the new senate which was involved in making events for everyone to participate in such as the Festival of Eonar.
How did you hear of us?: Found out of the Disciples of light through an old friend and through World-PvP fighting with the paladins on the front lines against the Horde Scum!
Do you know anyone in the guild already? if so, how? did you roleplay with them?:- Beladon and Ishap are IRL friends of mine and I Rp with them occassionally just discussing the goings on of the Alliance and the dangers outside the safety of the city and grumble like a dwarf.
IC information
Character Name: Vindicator of Ironforge Vardrek Ironhammer
Character Race: Best race in the game a Dwarf!
Character Class: Paladin
Male/Female: Male
Birthplace: The snowy mountains of Dun'Morogh
Age/DoB: 155 years old(young)
Vardrek Ironhammer started his life out as a young dwarf engineer a tradition in his family was to be a combat engineer within the Ironforge army. Yet as much as Vardrek enjoyed tinkering with explosives, tanks and aircraft he still had a feeling of a life unfufilled until one day he looked up to the sky and dread filled his dwarven heart... the necropoli had come and with it death yet as a Necropolis stopped outside the gates of Ironforge he felt a reassuring hand touch his shoulder as he turned around he noticed it was a paladin of Ironforge.
The old dwarf paladin seemed unconcerned about the situation to Vardreks untrained eye yet their was a serious demeanor about this dwarf and then he spoke "Ach so finally tha' bloomin excuse fer a Prince made his move ey? Well lad dun't ye worry we've learnt much bout em rotten deathbags we'll send these necropoli back as rubble fer tha' poncy prince!" Vardrek grinned at this even in the face of death a dwarf could still lighten the mood.
Day and night the fighting could be heard between the undead and the mountaineers of Dun'Morogh and the Ironforge Guards, day and night the cries for the aid of paladins to help the injured or save them from being backed into a corner all the while Vardrek gazed in awe at the power and nobility of his paladin kin he now understood that this may be what he was looking for and that if he and his people lived through this he would seek out that old dwarf paladin in hopes that he could be taught how to wield such a gift.
-Sometime Later-
Vardrek was happy he had studied his teachings and practiced wielding the light and he was deemed fit to go out into the world and seek out and heal the worlds problems when suddenly he came across a red bearded dwarf who looked grim and then this dwarf glared straight at Vardrek as if he was accusing him of some crime. This dwarf was of course Burgen Copperforge and he was looking for recruits, Vardrek was not sure of this grim looking dwarf and tried to politely sidestep him till Burgen suddenly barked out at Vardrek "Ye there lad! Ye look like a dwarf eager tae prove himsel' an healthy enough tae fight fer Khaz'Modan!" Vardrek arched an eyebrow at this sudden outburst from a dwarf who looked like he scared off most normal people.
Vardrek cleared his throat and said "An' whit concern would tha' be of yers?", "Well lad i be hirin good strong lads tae fight fer King an Country now er be Orcs roamin roun' wi'out a challenge lad ye'll get three meals a day an armour an maintenance allowance, military trainin an a decent wage now tha' sounds good tae a lad in yer position aye?" Vardrek grinned as he thought to himself this is what he needed to do instead of fixing the problems that have been and passed he could work with the Squad and stop it from happening "Aye lad tha' sounds like a good deal indeed where dae i sign?!"
The not to distant past
Vardrek had become a good paladin under High Marshal Burgen Copperforges command as well as a good soldier he had seen the fields of his enemies and seen the very jaws of evil beasts that roamed Azeroth and then it came to one final task given to him by High Marshal Burgen Copperforge he was to travel to Redridge apparently an old acquaintance of the High Marshal had returned here keeping an iron fisted rule over the populace of Lakeshire, Vardrek was tasked in bringing the words of the light back to these lands to become a thorn in their sides and bring hope to the people.
Vardrek rode atop his mighty ram Bhrunhilda calmly approaching the ridge opposite the town stopping on the top, calmly he eased himself off the ram and gave Bhrunhilda her feed bag before handling a libram attached to his belt this libram was the very same libram he was trained with and the same he had served in the military with it was a part of him in all respects. Vardrek flipped through the pages looking for inspiration from the teachings of the light held within and then he found what he was looking for and cleared his throat and yelled forth "People of Lakeshire ye 'ave nut been forsaken tae tha' darkness, tha' light still embraces yer mind an yer heart have faith in tha' light have faith in each other an Zaraj Blackblade shall hold nae power over ye fer we are all equal we are all worthy of bein treated with respect an compassion dae nut fear this man dae nut fear his cronies or his beasts it is nut ye who should be afraid it is he, he who hides behind a mask he who dissappears intae tha' shadows he is afraid of ye for ye are pure an' decent people tha' light shall flourish in Lakeshire once more an never again shall such villainy an hate return!" Vardrek closed his libram and observed the town all seemed quiet in the town.
The next day Vardrek once again preached the light to the citizens and then the next occasionally an agent of Blackblades would attempt to push him out of Redridge yet it had not been succesful until his final day when he had finally incurred the wrath of Zaraj Blackblade himself and his cronies Axio Thorne and Atronie Garshan, Vardrek fought valiantly even though out-numbered forcing Blackblade to quit the field yet he could not win this fight in the end if it were not for his faithful ram Bhrunhilda leading a charge against his attackers smacking into Atronie Garshan with her rock hard head sending her into the water and rearing at Axio Thorne giving Vardrek a chance to escape. Vardrek clung to the saddle barely able to cling on with his arms and clicked his tongue commanding Bhrunhilda to turn around and head towards Elwynn. Vardrek had won the battle but he had lost the war forced out of Redridge he could no longer preach the light to the downtrodden citizens he resided in Elwynn in shame recovering from his wounds.
Up until he was recruited by Beladon Vardrek did odd jobs around Elwynn and took jobs and deeds from within Stormwind.
