The Test of Faith is a test that is mandatory to all new people wanting to join the Disciples of Light, this test has been put in place to offer a taste of the type of role play our guild is based on.
The Test consists of one major task that is split into three, Respect, Compassion and Tenacity, those who have role-played as a follower of light will know these are the three virtues of the light.
You are given four days to carry out two tasks for each virtue, these tasks are chosen by you and you alone, you will receive no help whilst under this task from any one (this will not include certain ooc help).
It is advised you learn the virtues before your interview.

Doesn't it seem kinda dumb to create a stupidly complex task for new members when you're in desperate need of more members? I mean, fuck, I wouldn't bother with all this when I could get into Holy Lightbringers or Shining Strand easier...

Dudez, shining vengeance isn't even an rp guild anymore, and holy lightbringers are just plain sad. Plus, the DoL is a -completely- different guild then those two, same with the blazing shields and the scarlet crusade. But yeh, if you want to take the easy way out then go on, be gay. Oh wait, I think you already are This just creates some rp for our applicants and gives us a chance to show them what we're all about as well as it gives them a chance to show us that they know the rp-basics and also have a somewhat decent english :>

It's a nice idea imo but I would honestly send an officer to teach them these virtues like an aprentice just so the poor new guy/gal has guidance.

Well, the people who rp's around the cathedral are mostly clergy and other faithfuckers.. And if the person in question wants it, he'll just have to ask. Show some gogo.

Om's been teaching Aevan at least. Could easily expand it and teach applicants, if required anyway.

Don't think im bardging in this is just a sugestion when Sin Belore was in it's prime we had a "subordinate" rank the subordanate was a new recruit and taken under an officer of the same class' wing and taught as much as the officer could offer. It makes good RP and created good bonds between groups of people. Such is always nice and keeps the officers in charge, keen and on their toes :-p and at level cap they even took to sticking together and doing missions (grinding gear ICly) in heroic dungeons and raids.
